Q. What does John Szarkowski mean when he says that photographers are quoting ‘out of context’ when they make photographic pictures? 
A: John Szarkowski means that a picture tells a story. Its up to the viewer of the photograph on what that story is based on there opinion and assumption . He is saying photographers tell a story with out using any words, they are "quoting out of context".

Q. The frame often ‘dissects familiar forms’. At the end of the last century photography was having a major impact on Art. Impressionist artists such as Degas were influenced by what they saw. 
Find an example of his work, which clearly shows this influence and explain why the public might have been shocked to see such paintings. 
A:The framing of a picture often determines the concept the photographer is trying to portray.The composition of a photo also is a factor in showing the composition of a photo,artists use these elements to explain to views what they meant when they took the photo.

I like the abstract close up photos. These photos show all the details of the subjects. The way the photos are taken shows the subject from a different view instead of its normal strait on angle

 Fun with nature: These pictures are of the model in nature. She is playing in nature and being involved with it.The second picture is her playing with leaves,the first picture is of her laying in the grass.

                           Prom Flowers: These pictures are of the flowers you wear at prom. The top was the boutonniere and the bottom was the corsage. I liked these pictures because they repesent the girl and the guy at prom. And they also show the difference between the two.                                

 Flowers: The color of these different flowers are almost the same. I like these photos because it shows the color of nature. The bottom photo is a rose and the top is a bush that I really liked.

                                                                

Portraits:

These photos i took with a professional lighting kit. I used the idea of a athlete for my model. I think these pictures look like they could be on a cover of a lacrosse magazine. I edited to look more clean and make the model look their best.

Light the Flame :These pictures reflect depth of field examples using candles as the subject. I thought the candles gave a interesting focal point and the colors are bright and colorful. The flame of the candles were hard to capture without the flash.
